Mr. Cleveland is Director of Business Development at Liquid Realty Partners. In this role, he is responsible for originating secondary acquisitions of private equity real estate interests from limited partners. He has eight years of real estate, private equity and investment banking experience in New York, San Francisco and Zurich.
Prior to joining Liquid Realty, Mr. Cleveland was Vice President at Capital Dynamics, a Swiss private equity firm with approximately $20 billion in current engagements. At Capital Dynamics, he shared responsibility for strategic marketing and the development of a North America platform. He participated in the identification and closing of a $12 billion AUM advisory assignment for a US public pension plan, and in the acquisition of a $2.5 billion UK private equity manager.
Mr. Cleveland previously worked in the debt capital markets division of Credit Suisse First Boston, where he was a member of a debt and derivatives origination team covering the global energy sector. He began his career at Bank of America as a financial analyst in the debt capital markets division. He holds a Bachelor of Arts in Economics from the University of South Carolina, where he also studied German.
